Kievits Veerdiensten hosts two ferry services for pedestrians and cyclists. One ferry will bring you across the Rhine from Millingen aan de Rijn to Pannerden v/v and the other ferry will bring you across the Waal from the Millingerwaard to Doornenburg. Please note that both ferries have their own timetable! We advise you to view these prior to your trip.
Please pay attention to the fact that in case of extremely high or low water level or extreme weather conditions (like dense fog, heavy storm, extreme heat) the ferry service temporarily can be suspended.

Millingen aan de Rijn–Pannerden
September 25, 2026 Due to the extremely low water level in the Rhine, the ferry service has been suspended until further notice. We do not expect the situation to improve in the coming week. As soon as ferry service resumes, we will post an update on our website.Millingerwaard-Doornenburg
The ferry service is closed from September to April.
